OUR STORY

Outsourcery.uk was born out of a desire to connect businesses with highly skilled, cost-effective remote support professionals, providing a personal, tailored service in an increasingly digital world. As the company grew, its founders recognised the immense potential in South Africa’s talent pool, but also saw the challenges many faced in accessing opportunities in the global remote support industry.

The idea for the Outsourcery Foundation emerged from the belief that South Africa could become a global hub for remote support services if the right infrastructure, education, and support systems were in place. From the beginning, Outsourcery.uk focused on the importance of investing in people, nurturing talent, and fostering long-term success. The foundation was established to extend this mission beyond business clients, focusing on the empowerment of individuals and communities who could benefit from the remote work revolution.

With a commitment to education, sustainable growth, and collaboration with government, the Outsourcery Foundation was created to ensure that the remote support sector in South Africa not only thrives but becomes a significant contributor to both local and global economies. By bridging the gap between talent and opportunity, the foundation aims to drive socio-economic growth, foster innovation, and champion policies that support the next generation of remote professionals.

Progress to date

The foundation has created a learning and development fund of over R200,000 available to virtual assistants in South Africa, targeting educational programmes in remote support skills.

The Outsourcery Foundation has distributed over R100,000 in direct grant funding to entrepreneurs in target sectors in the UK, leading to over 20 new full-time new roles being created in South Africa

By collaborating with local and national governments, the foundation is helping influence key policy changes, streamlining the process for remote workers to access funding and resources. This is expected to lead to a 25% increase in government-backed initiatives that support the remote work sector.

Through these efforts, the foundation is not only fostering sustainable growth but also building a future-proof workforce, contributing to the nation’s economic resilience.
